Since 2014 and ongoing, Natura Consulting has provided services to Unison Projects at Greens Road, Griffin to undertake regular 6-monthly ecosystem auditing of a designated statutory environmental covenant associated with the local residential development there. This project involves surveys of designated monitoring transects to determine ecosystem health and ongoing weed maintenance activities in order to achieve final benchmark parameters set for the local ecosystem by the Department of Environment and Science, as well as improve connectivity between currently disconnected stands of estuarine and terrestrial remnant vegetation. This work continues to track an improving and consistently managed tree and shrub layer within the covenant area and monitors weed levels at the ground-level, issuing contracts to bush regeneration teams to enact report recommendations.
