Natura Education and our partners from the City of Gold Coast Catchment Management Unit were honoured to be among the finalists for this year’s Healthy Waterways Awards. In attending the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner last week, we were so proud to be in the company of so many who are contributing truly wonderful things to the care and protection of our waterways here in South East Queensland. From corporations and local government through to community organisations, school groups and highly motivated individuals of all ages, we should all be grateful for the contributions that these people are making towards the environments that we all enjoy.
To have our Gold Coast Waterwatch ‘Waterways Field Guide’ Project be nominated as a finalist among such an impressive group was truly a privilege, and we would like to extend our sincere congratulations to the winners. Your hard work has been justly recognised and is a gift to us all!
